DESCRIPTION:The Rosewell Visitor Center and Ruin will be open to the public beginning Friday\, April 3 2026 (Closed on April 5 in observance of Easter Sunday). Open hours are Friday and Saturday (10 am – 4 pm) and Sunday (12 – 4 pm). For the 2026 season\, in celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States of America\, admission to Rosewell will be free for all visitors! (Please begin your visit at the Visitor Center before proceeding to the Ruin.)

DESCRIPTION: Held alongside the Antioch Homecoming at Antioch Church\, this program centers on the enslaved quarters at Fairfield and the legacy of Piney Swamp\, a freed Black community that formed after the Civil War and later became home to the Piney Swamp School. We welcome anyone with oral histories\, family stories\, or genealogical questions\, especially those navigating gaps created by enslavement and Jim Crow-era erasure.
