We will be holding public excavations during the Daffodil Festival once again in 2018! We’ll be excavating right within the court circle east of the courthouse (adjacent the Botetourt Hotel). Stop by with your friends and family to learn more about archaeology in the county, the history and archaeology of the court circle, or help us screen for artifacts! You can also visit the CAPE during our Grand Opening weekend – it will be open and staffed throughout the festival!
