The Fairfield Foundation is hosting FOUR Archaeology Summer Camps at Fairfield Archaeological Park this year! This camp, June 19-23 2023, is open to children 6 to 8 years old. No prior experience required! Campers will get their hands dirty digging with professional archaeologists, finding artifacts, solving mysteries, playing games, and learning about Gloucester’s amazing history! Children will be provided a mid-morning snack and water. Cost is $125/camper.

Center for Archaeology, Preservation and Education (CAPE)

Opening Hours:

Grounds are open to the public to view our building exterior and signage. The CAPE is open for tours on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. or at other times by appointment. Lab nights at the CAPE are on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6-9pm.
