Fairfield Archaeology Park will be open for site tours on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, from April through October. Visit the site to learn about the families that lived and worked here, the 20+ years of archaeology that has occurred at the site, and walk the nature trail.
Join the Fairfield Foundation for public archaeology at King William Courthouse! We are currently working on excavations at the site of a former colonial tavern building, as well as exploring the larger historic landscape within the King William Courthouse complex. Join us at the CAPE on the first Wednesday of the month for an artifact wash day! Help clean and sort artifacts from recent excavations across the Middle Peninsula and learn about other Fairfield Foundation projects.

The Rosewell Visitor Center and Ruin will be open to the public beginning Friday, April 4 2025. Open hours are Friday and Saturday (10 am – 4 pm) and Sunday (12 – 4 pm). Admission is $8/person, please visit http://rosewell.org for more info.
Timberneck House in Machicomoco State Park will be open for tours during the Daffodil Festival. Stop by and see the c.1793 house, check on the restoration progress, and enjoy the scenery in the state park.
