Peninsula Track Club Timberneck 5K

Join the Peninsula Track Club and the Fairfield Foundation for the second annual Timberneck 5K, for all runners and walkers! The course follows the flat, 3.1-mile driving loop around Machicomoco State Park. Race proceeds will go to the Fairfield Foundation towards the preservation and restoration of the Timberneck House. A Fun Run, a 1-mile out and back run available to all ages at no cost, will start at 7:45 am. The 5K will start at 8:30 am. Registration before June 3 is $35. Awards will be given to the top male female overall, top 3 male and female walkers, and male and female winners in various age groups. To register, go to https://runsignup.com/timberneck5k.

Opening Hours:
Grounds are always open to the public to view the building exterior and signage. The CAPE is open for tours on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at other times by appointment. Lab nights at the CAPE are on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6-9pm.
