Daffodil Festival Public Archaeology
Come visit us during one of our favorite events of the year, Gloucester’s Daffodil Festival! We will be excavating within the historic court circle on Gloucester’s Main Street, and we welcome visitors to stop by and chat with us about what we’re finding or help screen for artifacts.
Fairfield Friday
Fairfield Archaeology Park will be open for site tours on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, from April through October. Visit the site to learn about the families that lived and worked here, the 20+ years of archaeology that has occurred at the site, and walk the nature trail.
Rosewell Visitor Center and Ruin
The Rosewell Visitor Center and Ruin will be open to the public beginning Friday, April 4 2025. Open hours are Friday and Saturday (10 am – 4 pm) and Sunday (12 – 4 pm). Admission is $8/person, please visit http://rosewell.org for more info.
Center for Archaeology, Preservation and Education (CAPE)
Opening Hours:
Grounds are always open to the public to view the building exterior and signage. The CAPE is open for tours on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at other times by appointment. Lab nights at the CAPE are on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6-9pm.
