This is no trick! We’ll have digging and treats at Fairfield on Halloween! And since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year during Archaeology month, we’re taking full advantage, so join us for a weekend dig you won’t want to miss.
Dress as your favorite archaeologist and dig with ours! Whether you channel Indiana Jones, wear your Fairfield cap backward like Thane, or your own idea of what an archaeologist looks like, come in costume and get your hands dirty alongside our team.
This family-friendly event blends real excavation with storytelling. We’ll be sharing oral histories, folklore, and the beliefs and superstitions that shaped life in the colonial and Revolutionary-era Chesapeake.
Bring the whole family for a day of digging, discovery, and a few treats along the way!
