Fairfield Archaeology Park will be open for site tours on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month, from April through October. Visit the site to learn about the families that lived and worked here, the 20+ years of archaeology that has occurred at the site, and walk the nature trail.
While the Rosewell Ruin still stands, structures the enslaved lived in have been lost. We will construct a remembrance structure to honor the people who built and worked at Rosewell against their will. The contractor, Salvage Wrights LLC, has built similar structures at Menokin, Montpellier, and Ferry Farm. Grounds are always open to the public to view the building exterior and signage. The CAPE is open for tours on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and at other times by appointment. Lab nights at the CAPE are on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays from 6-9pm.
